Songs, videos, stills & more!: All you want to know about episode 6, “Mash Off”

November 14, 2011

Drama, laughs and amazing music – last week’s episode, “The First Time”, had all the makings of a great Glee episode…and by the looks of it, this week’s “Mash Off” looks like a winner, too! That’s right, it’s the return of the mash-up this week, with a whopping four mash-ups being performed in the episode. Spoilerphobes, it’s preview post time, so avert your eyes if you don’t want to see the official synopsis, episode stills, full songs and a bunch of sneak peek videos from this week’s episode. First, here’s the synopsis:

Sue starts a smear campaign to take down her biggest competitor for the Congressional seat. Meanwhile, Puck has a crush, and Will and Shelby Corcoran encourage some friendly competition.

Sue might have been M.I.A. last week, but it sounds like she’s back in full force in this episode! I’m also excited to see a lot of Puck this week, plus some greater interaction between New Directions and The Troubletones. Both groups are so talented that a musical competition between the two sounds heavenly, don’t you think? On that “note”, you can listen to all five songs from this week’s episode (four mash-ups, plus a solo from Puck on Van Halen’s “Hot For Teacher”!) over on Glee the Music!

The Troubletones’ Adele mash-up is quickly becoming one of my favourite Glee songs! Check out the full performance of this hit, plus a behind-the-scenes video and the episode promo below:

And, as always, I’ve got episode stills to wrap things up! Click on each image for the full-sized version:

Anyone know where Santana got the dress she’s wearing in the Adele mash up performance? I love it!
