Songs, videos, stills & more!: All you want to know about episode 4, “Pot O’ Gold”

October 30, 2011

It really feels like it’s been longer than a month since we’ve had a new Glee episode, doesn’t it gleeks? But it won’t be long now: Glee will be returning to our TV screens on Tuesday, November 1! This also means that it’s time for my episode preview post! Spoilerphobes, remember to avert your eyes, because below you’ll find the official synopsis, episode stills, full songs and tons of sneak peek videos from this week’s episode, “Pot O’ Gold”. First, here’s the synopsis:

A new foreign exchange student, Rory Flanagan (guest star Damian McGinty, winner of The Glee Project), enrolls at McKinley and crashes with Brittany S. Pierce (Heather Morris) who thinks he’s a leprechaun. Meanwhile, Mercedes (Amber Riley) attempts to recruit new members to join Shelby Corcoran’s (guest star Idina Menzel) newly formed Glee club, and Sue’s (Jane Lynch) congressional campaign heats up.

Yes, that’s right, Damian’s finally making his first appearance on Glee! He was my favourite of the four winners/runners-up from The Glee Project, so I’m really excited to see how he does on the show. I’m also antsy to see how things ramp up with Shelby’s glee club, and I can’t wait to see them perform their first song, Christina Aguilera’s “Candy Man”! Take a listen to all of the songs from this week’s episode over on Glee the Music!

There’s some great-sounding songs in there…but how do they look? Check out a few sneak preview videos, including the super fun performance of Katy Perry’s “Last Friday Night”:

And, as always, I’ve got episode stills to wrap things up! Click on each image for the full-sized version:
