Jesse St. James returns again: Jonathan Groff will appear in Glee season 3!
You gleeks didn’t really think we’d seen the last of Jesse St. James, did you? E! Online is reporting exclusive casting news that Jonathan Groff, Rachel’s former flame and perennial thorn in New Directions’ collective side, will be making a reappearance later on in Glee‘s third season!
Jesse will be returning as the new coach of Vocal Adrenaline, which sounds like a perfect way to continue fuelling their rivalry with New Directions. The word on the street is that we’ll be seeing Jesse in four episodes, leading up to Nationals, and that he’ll have stories with the character to be played by Alex, one of the runner-ups from The Glee Project. Does this mean that maybe Alex’s character will be a member of Vocal Adrenaline? Intriguing! I think these two will definitely play well off of each other since they both have quite the dramatic flair.
Are you stoked to see Jesse back on Glee again? And are you hoping for another Rachel/Jesse duet? Sound off in the comments!
