Watch Sesame Street’s hilarious Glee spoof, “G”!

September 22, 2011

What happens when you create a mash-up of Sesame Street and Glee to teach kids about the letter “G”? Why, you get something grand, great and giggle-worthy, of course! To promote their upcoming 42nd season, Sesame Street has added Glee to their long list of excellent TV parodies (most recently including shows like Mad Men, True Blood and Desperate Housewives) with an adorable sketch called “G”, featuring muppet versions of some of your favourite characters:

It’s pretty amazing how spot-on perfect some of those muppets were! What did you think of Sesame Street‘s spoof? Which muppet character did you like best? Share your thoughts in the comments!

Would have been way cooler to get the actual cast to do the voices 🙂

So true! That would’ve been really awesome…and I feel like the cast would’ve been totally into it! Still a great clip though.

Really awesome! I agree with Mo Jangda too! The Muppets are easily matched to the cast. Well done! 😀

Yeah, they should’ve had the cast do the voices I would’ve LOVED to hear Lea say “I like you Finn. I’m looking at you longingly”

LOVE the spot on puppets Rachel and Mercedes ❤

Also would’ve loved to hear Chris say “G makes a “Ger” sound as in Gasp *gasps* and GORGEOUS!!”
