Don’t Stop Believin’ Book Launch Round-Up and Photo Contest Reminder!

November 1, 2010

Sure, it happened over a month ago, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t post a few photos and a video from the fantastic launch of Don’t Stop Believin: The Unofficial Guide to Glee, am I right? Below, you’ll see your fearless authors, myself on the left and Erin on the right, singing our hearts out to the most obvious opening song of the night choice ever, “Don’t Stop Believin'”. (And although you can’t see them very well in the photo, Erin and I are both wearing awesome Glee quote shirts: mine is dedicated to Sue, while Erin’s has been worn by Heather Morris herself.)

And since it’s fun to embarrass ourselves a little further, here’s a video of me and Erin addressing the crowd and, yes, kicking off the karaoke for the night:

Thank you again to everyone who attended our launch party and to all of you who have bought a copy of our book already! And if you’ve bought a copy of our book but you haven’t entered our photo contest yet, what are you waiting for? Yup, in case you missed it before, we’re running a photo contest, and all you have to do is snap a pic of yourself with our book to enter. We’ll be awarding one prize for the most creative entry, one prize for the gleekiest outfit entry, and one lucky winner will be chosen by random. All the details are over here, and we’ve actually decided to extend the contest until November 30, so you all have a full three months to enter, so there’s no excuses not to buy the book by then!

Need some inspiration for your photo? Check out our first round-up of entries, including this shot from super gleek Spencer! We’ll be posting another photo round-up later this week, so send in your entries now!
