Celebrating Glee’s 1st anniversary

May 19, 2010

One year ago today we saw Rachel get slushied for the first time. One year ago today we saw Finn rock out in the locker room shower. One year ago today we saw Mr. Schue take a motley crew of social outcasts and help turn them into this:

Thank you, Glee, for wowing us on May 19, 2009 and continuing to do so on May 19, 2010. Here’s to many more amazing years of Glee!

And to my fellow gleeks: Let’s get some discussion going on this happy day, shall we? I’d love if you’d all share in the comments either a) your favourite Glee moment in the past year (be it your favourite quote, scene, or musical number) and/or b) the moment that turned you into a Glee fan! For me, it’s definitely a) the simple yet beautiful “True Colors” performance from “Hairography,” and b) the original “Don’t Stop Believin'” performance as seen in the video above! Share your thoughts in the comments!

I loved NPH and Matthew singing Dream On. Any part with Neil in it was AWESOMENESS!

My favourite Glee moment is anytime Brittany speaks. “When I hurt my neck, I went to a misogynist.” That and “Like a Prayer.”
