Pre-episode buzz: “Mattress” synopsis, promo vid & stills, and song clips
Happy Monday, Glee fans! It’s just a couple of days until the next episode, “Mattress,” airs, and so I thought I’d give you all a round-up of the pre-episode goodies I’ve come across. As always with pre-episode buzz posts, be forewarned of spoilers below the cut!:
Synopsis: When the Glee Club is left out of the yearbook because of budget cuts, everyone seems to be relieved that they won’t have to suffer the ridicule of years past. Everyone except Rachel, that is, who wants her legacy cemented in print. Meanwhile, Quinn makes it her mission to be in the Cheerios yearbook photo, and Will and Terri’s relationship is shaken to its core.

While audio versions of the songs from “Mattress” aren’t yet available online, Glee Forum has 30-second previews of Finn and Rachel doing Lily Allen’s “Smile,” Mercedes singing Charlie Chaplin’s “Smile,” the glee club performing Van Halen’s “Jump,” and Mercedes singing “And I Am Telling You” from Dreamgirls. The full versions of these songs should be online later today or tomorrow, and I’ll post them up here as soon as I can get my hands (or would it be my ears?) on them!
